Laid-back hip-hop beats create a bumping background for the rhythmic rhymes of Kronik Flamez. Her real music is offering a message to audiences worldwide. Kronik Flamez can shift from upbeat club energy to honest raw emotion, but she always gives the fans something they can relate to. Her vocals are a form of storytelling. With melodic hooks and clever wordplay, she is expressing a reflection of her life and the struggles of those around her. Her tracks are filled with hazy smokey vibes, and Kronik Flamez drops the dopest punchlines.

Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Kronik Flamez first became interested in music as a child around age six. Growing up, she used to freestyle with her older cousins while they played outside. Around age 12, she became more interested and focused after watching her sister write songs and sing along to her favorite artists. Although Kronik Flamez began making her own music in 2009, it wasn’t until 2014, when her sister passed away, that Kronik Flamez decided to go hard with her music. She found a new motivation for her family and her sister’s memory. Although she learned to play piano, sang in the Women’s Choir, and was enrolled in the Magnet Program for Music where she studied the violin, Kronik Flamez found her true passion in rap. She is self-taught in that realm, writing all her own music. She is influenced by the raw energy of neo-soul artists such as Jill Scott, Floetry, Musiq Soulchild, and Erykah Badu. Thanks to her family’s diverse music tastes, she also grew up on OutKast, Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Tupac, and a wide variety of others.

Throughout her career, Kronik Flamez developed her craft as an artist, improving her wordplay and delivery. She gained confidence in her style, producing an original sound that fans love. Currently based in Newport News, VA, Kronik Flamez has a few collaborations with other artists in the local music scene. Some of these include A.R., Trenchii, El Choppo, and New Warleans MIC. Her music videos are her proudest accomplishments to date, and Kronik Flamez has even more visuals coming soon. She is currently working on several new, untitled projects.

Kronik Flamez is lifting the spirits of audiences everywhere. If you’re feeling down and out, she will hype you up. She speaks through the mic because sometimes people just need a little talking to. Music has helped Kronik Flamez get through a lot of pain, and when times are good, music keeps her uplifted. She is honoring her family and giving back to the community. She is giving them something better. Kronik Flamez is setting people up for success by putting others in a position they can build from. She is particularly interested in helping the homeless. With all the money one gets as an artist, Kronik Flamez asks, “how can you not help and give back?”
